REI Lakes, night shot

May 31, 2014

We went camping at REI Lakes on Springfield Ohio this weekend and I got this great shot. This was a 30 minute exposure that I started about 10:30pm, the moon was a crescent and low on the horizon. Worked out great as you can see the star rotation and the moon falling below the horizon through the clouds. In the background on the back side of the lakes you can see the light trails from cars passing by during the exposure. Was a nice clear night  and very little ambient light to cloud the shot.
